Battle in the Ruins Part I

This piece was a level up for me. I realized that given enough time I could push through the point in time while painting that makes the painter wonder; will they ever finish a painting or maybe they aren’t  good enough. For me when I create images I need have every moment every passage in the painting have a sort of idiosyncratic sort of realism. This piece holds a special place for me as the first piece that taught me painting takes time, and to make sure every passage serves the image.
