Comic Con T-shirt Design

During my time as the Graphic Design Intern creating promotional material for University Library of Columbus Comic  Con I had a lot of artistic freedom and had to make decisions  that I thought would be best for the event . One of my tasks I liked the best was designing the T-shirt for the event. All I knew was the shirt would be printed in white ink on a dark colored shirt and the theme had to be sci fi other than that I could do anything I wanted. I also quickly realized  wanted to reference the eclipse happening close to the event since they were giving away glasses and there were eclipse themed programs going on. So I decided to make ideas based around that.
